I’m not entirely sure what this is but I like it!
It’s DRY and fairly dark and chime-like and offers a terrific straight up responsive stick attack.
You can still see a “Sabian” logo but this 20” has been custom Hand Hammered and has a distressed finish.
Custom RE - HAMMERED 20” one a Sabian Cymbal that has a brushed and weathered appearance/surface and is re-hand hammered.
The weight is 2658 grams making it Medium to Medium Heavy for a 20”.
As you can hear, it’s DRY and has a very defined and focused chime-like stick attack with just a pinch of complexity. It has a contained spread.
The attack penetrates well with a subtle dark and crystalline tone.
Absolutely roars when crashed upon.
Very strong bell that cuts.
A unique dark and dry sounding cymbal that remains controlled in overtones and cuts well through a mix.
A custom cymbal with a unique look and tone. Great as a main Ride or as a alternate Dry Ride.
