- These were custom made for an endorser. The 14s of these cost $640. That’s right, for the 14s”.
- These are the impossible to find REDESIGNED 15s”. And they are some of the DARKEST and lowest pitched hihats you will find.
- They can easily pass as 16s”.
- Hand picked Custom Sabian HH Hand Hammered 15” Medium Hihats. Newer REDESIGNED HH series.
- Famous HH ball peen style Hand Hammering throughout with the heavy hammering around the bell.
- Super low profile gives these massive 15s” a very, very dark and low pitched tone - super fat and chunky.
- 1154 and 1464 grams gives them a classic New Beat philosophy heavy CHICK tone.
- Very articulate stick attack when closed. Tight. Focused. Very FAT tone.
- Open them up for a raucous sloshy tone.
- Being actually Hand Hammered they have a pinch of complexity to them that comes out when opened for accents. But the Medium weight gives a tightness when closed.
- Extremely dark and low pitched. Massive. Very dynamic range - articulate at low volumes, penetrating at loud volumes. Warm with a hint of complexity.
- Sabian describes the 14s” as:
“ Warm, full-bodied responses are clean and musical with solid stick and foot definition.”
These are the 15s”.
