Sabian inverted style 18” Prototype weighing a very thin 1188 grams.
- Similar to a Paiste NOVO China - but this beauty is a warmer, golden B20 alloy (unlike Paistes B8 2002s) and it has a Raw Bell but a more incisive attack.
- The reverse downward flanged lip measures 2.5” and the profile is low with a subtle Novo style curve.
- Fairly dark and mellow tone - like a Novo, but the RAW BELL delivers more of a cutting and biting attack.
- Lower profile lends a lower more mellow, exotic tone but it has plenty of cutting ability - the initial strike is fierce when you really lay into it.
- Can be aggressive. Or mellow.
- Broad dynamic range - nothing like a regular shaped China. This 18” has a unique, exotic mellowness to it.
- No issues. Great shape. Light patina/stick marks.
