The very THIN 1288 gram weight gives this 18” a terrific DARK THIN Crash tone that sounds robust when really laid in to.
- The edges are thin and bendable. It has an aged softness to it and it’s an actually half-way to vintage land as it is.
- The pre-aged patina finish dries this Avedis out a pinch and gives it a quick sustain when crashed upon and a fantastic, semi-dry stick attack when you ride on it.
- Fantastic Left Side Ride or smaller Light Ride.
- Fairly soft pliability - incredible sounding Thin Crash or dark sounding Light Crash Ride. Even opens up with mallets. Very smooth and responsive.
- This particular one is very balanced sounding with a nice fullness when crashed upon. And it has a pinch of shimmer too.
- Amazing condition with absolutely no issues. Extremely clean with a factory patina. A killer, versatile 18” that Zildjian apparently stopped making.
