  • Hell, the regular Sizzle Hats are hard to find these days!  These are the FACTORY ROCK SIZZLES. I’ve never even seen these before!

  • Stamped “ROCK SIZZLE HATS.”

  • As many of you may know, the drummer of Alice In Chains famously employed SIZZLE HATS.

  • And a lot of old school drummers added sizzles to their hihats as well back in the 40s and 50s.

  • There are two reasons why these 14" Sabian Hihats are ingenious. In addition to delivering a deliciously bright, ultra clean and cutting attack, these Sizzle Hats are outfitted with 8 factory rivets.

  • What this means is that when you open these hihats up, you get a freight train's worth of bold, luscious, FULL, FROTHY wash. There is NO COMPARISON. The rivets beautifully extend the Classic Sabian wash.

  • And the second you clamp these cymbals together, you're right back to cutting, crisp, rivetless attack.
