• Well here’s a collectible Zildjian! This 18” is from the now-famous Zildjian K Constantinople’s FIRST RUN! 
  
  
• It’s 22 years old and insanely CLEAN! The cleanest of these Crash cymbals I’ve ever seen. Strong logos.  Armand Zildjian emblazoned logo on the underside. 
  
  
• And a 22-year-aged K Constantinople is a damn nice cymbal! 
  
  
• This 18” is very DARK and low sounding for the Series.  
  
  
• As you can see the bell, hammering, profile and lathing is much different than the modern ones. And this gives it a very different tone than the modern Zildjians. 
  
  
• It’s like a K Cons Medium a Thin LOW but in an 18”  Crash. 
  
  
• Weighing in at a wonderfully thin 1344 grams, this 1st Run K Cons Crash plays like a Thin to Medium Thin Dark Crash or even a smaller Dark Ride. 
  
  
• The metal has aged and settled in beautifully.  It’s very DARK sounding and low pitched, it sounds vintage because it’s halfway there. 
  
  
• It has a darker, lower-pitched and much more focused tone than the newer K Cons Crashes. And it projects much better too. 
  
  
• Hammered all the way out to the edge like these early ones were - rippled plain.  Telltale early K Constantinople look. 
  
  
• Full when crashed upon. Dark. Low. Great attack for a K Constantinople. Strong projection. Very solid bell. Terrific smaller Dark Ride that’s controlled.
