- That’s right! It’s the Sabian DAVID GARIBALDI Jam Master 18” CRASH RIDE! I’ve only seen a few of these in my life. The 22s” are damn hard to find.
- This is the super rare 18”!
- Weighing in at a lovely 1704 grams this JAM MASTER Crash Ride plays like a great fairly DRY and CONTROLLED 18".
- What I dig about this specific Crash Ride is that it is slightly dark and shimmering sounding (compliments of the Brilliant Finish underside) while STILL possessing the drier tone and strong stick articulation of the Leopard Style unlathed top. The outer plane of the cymbal supplies a warmer, washier alternative.
- As a crash this 18" has a great focused, slightly dry wash, and its medium weight adds some nice projection.
- The Hand Hammered bell is rounded over and very solid! It cuts superbly - especially for an 18”.
- When played lately, This Jam Master makes a great DRY LIGHT RIDE that’s controlled and focused. The decay is quick. It’s a rare combination to find on a cymbal.
- This is a great cymbal for medium low to loud settings. As you would imagine, David Garibaldi has a lot of bases to cover - and this 18” does exactly that!
