- Vintage 1974 Black Label Paiste 602 18” Ride in amazing shape. Take a look at the pictures. Overall very clean. And you can’t even get this cymbal today from Paiste.
- And being the smaller 18" size this beauty REMAINS CONTROLLED! It responds faster than the larger sizes and offers quick sticking.
- It has a clean, tight feel and tone but it keeps a foot in darker waters. It delivers that perfect 1970s clear 18” Ride tone that was on so many hit records.
- At 1770 grams this rare Black Label 602 plays like a smooth Medium Ride. It makes a great main or a lovely Left Side Light 18”. Paperthin 602s sound gorgeous, but they can sometimes lack definition.
- THIS 18" 602 has a focused definition and maintains that clean, clear Vintage Paste chime-like smooth attack. The lathing and hammering is all 602-beautiful.
- The tone is smooth and fairly dark with a nice clean shimmer on top.
- This is the tone that made Paiste famous - it sounds pre-eq-ed. Amazing for the studio. Great solid bell for an 18”. Smooth as silk on choruses. Roars when crashed upon.
