RARE Discontinued Black Label PAISTE 2002 18” Factory Ride 1806 g BONHAM Super Clean!
Guess what is iconic? Guess what’s no longer made?
Guess what’s insanely clean?!!
That’s right!! Rare and collectible Paiste Black Label 2002 18” Factory Ride Cymbal that is in fantastic condition!
As many of you may know John Bonham famously played a 24” and ALSO famously played the 18” Ride. Not just a “Medium” or “Crash” but the factory stamped “RIDE.”
Which has long been discontinued. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have one.
Weighing in at 1806 grams this 18” Ride has a much better stick definition than the Crash or Medium and has a fantastic bell as well. But where it really shines is that it has a faster response, quicker decay and more control than the standard 20” model 2002. It’s instantly felt when you play it too.
Of course it still has that famously clean and clear Paiste 2002 tone that made them famous over half-a-century ago.
Crash on it for a wall of 18” Crash Ride wash - but again, it dissipates faster than the 20” or 22” model.
Perfect for rock but not limited to only rock.
No issues. Fantastic shape. Extremely clean. Not an easy find. Iconic.
