- THIN. DARK. FULL CRASH RIDE.
- Unique Zildjian SOUND LAB PROTOTYPE 20” Thin Dark Crash Ride.
- Only 1825 grams which is much thinner than most Zildjians.
- Looks to have some KEROPE style hammering and craftsmanship but it’s a traditional finish and fully lathed.
- Razor thin edges make it incredibly responsive and it crashes like a dark paper thin. Bendable edges.
- Generous rounded over bell with a low profile - orchestral-like. Dark, warm, big crash with a lush wash, OR…glorious Light Ride.
- You get to decide. Or you don’t have to, it can be both.
- Dark. Very warm woody stick attack. Thin and easily crashable. Solid 5.5” bell is solid - especially for a cymbal this thin.
- Warm lush swelling wash - like a Suspended cymbal. Very full.
- No issues. Great shape with a light patina that mellows it.
- Doesn’t exist in the Zildjian catalog - but it should!
