- Well, here you go! This isn’t a heavy or Ping style Ride. This beautiful 20” is 70 years old - it was forged when Charles Mingus was recording his seminal albums.
- Hell this Zildjian sounds like the it was the model they used to create the Avedis Series - it it’s the real one.
- This beauty has the 50s stamp but everything about it (including the smaller center hole and lathing) looks and sounds like it’s from the 1940s.
- A fantastic weight at a perfect 2200 grams.
- Plays like the Zildjian Avedis Series but as a 1950s Zildjian - more body and actually Hand Hammered.
- This 70-year-old Zildjian does it all - if you have a light touch, this 20” has a DRY stick attack that is mellowed naturally and fairly controlled. The wash is slightly complex and has a light, percolating complexity - classic Zildjian 1950s breathiness - but it’s very subtle.
- Crash on the edge for a billowing 20”’Full Crash tone. Makes for a great RINGO white noise.
- It’s a killer sounding Mellow Semi-Dry Ride or huge crash.
- Semi-dry Main Ride. Left Side Mellow Crash Ride. This well over half-century-old Zildjian can occupy many positions on the field. Offers perfect crash accents when riding.
