The tone is a pinch complex thanks to all that Hand Hammering, however being the Flat Ride it's obviously the most controlled cymbal in the series. The stick definition is prominent (compliments of the absence of a bell) and the ensuing was is very controlled but still has a liveliness that percolates under neath that initial attack.
