Glorious 80s style lathing and hammering. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eZildjian makes nothing like this today. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAs many of you know the absence of a bell controls the overtones and volume in a Flat Ride, and that is exactly the case of this four-decade-old K. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAs far as these 80s K Flats go, this one had the rare shimmering brilliance the Traditional Finish lacks. It has a marvelous chime-like stick attack that is followed by a focused, bright wash. And that wash NEVER eclipses the initial stick definition.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf you crash\/accent on this K you get a great lightening crack that's perfect for quick explosions. This Zidjian K Flat Ride will never get away from you either in volume or overtones. And therein lies its beauty. The pitch is medium to medium high. All with the added Dark and glassy Shimmer of a Brilliant Finish!\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWeighing in at \u003cspan class=\"il\"\u003e2532\u003c\/span\u003e grams, and of course, being a Flat Ride, this 20\" delivers a fantastic, tight, and very focused chime-like attack. It has a bit of a glassy shimmer to it, like the Paiste 602 Flat, but this penetrates a mix better than the thinner Paistes.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eVery focused stick attack with a subtle, light airiness underneath.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFlat profile with a downward flanged edge for complexity. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCrashes beautifully emitting lightening-like effects accents. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eExtremely clean for being 40 years old.  Still very Brilliant.
