Very Rare SIGNED Sabian RALPH PETERSON Vault Signature Ride 22” 2764 g Gorgeous DRY!

A gorgeous testament to a fantastic drummer who may no longer be with us but left a beautiful legacy.

The original Limited Edition Sabian Vault RALPH PETERSON Ride 22” in absolutely amazing condition! Signed by Ralph Peterson under the bell. I believe there were only 200 ever made (maybe 250.) And here you can have a listen to it.

This Limited Edition Sabian Signature series has a very Istanbul Agop Sig look to it, however, with this particular one I would say it is much DRIER than the Agop Signature and has a stronger stick definition. It doesn’t wash out.

Large rounded over raw and unlathed HH style Hand Hammered bell segues into a sparsely lathed plain.  As you migrate out the edge the lathing becomes a bit thinner.
Big golf-balled sized HHX-like hammering gives this beauty a wavy surface.

This is a glorious Dry Complex Ride - and in this specific case, the DRY is more prominent than the complex.  Very articulate stick attack with an organic shadow of a wash. Very solid bell.

2764 grams with much of that weight residing on the bell and plain while the edges thin out.

As clean a one as I have ever seen!  One of my favorite Sabian cymbals - as versatile and inspiring as the man who was behind it.
