- Orchestras don’t play crap! And so it comes as no surprise that this HAND HAMMERED Medium Light 20” offers a beautiful blend of warm with a semi-dry stick articulation on top.
- I have never even actually seen this Sabian HH before - years ago I saw an 18” once. This is the larger 20”
- Look at the hand hammering and lathing on the bell - this is a stunning Sabian HH. It has a wide and generous rounded over bell with tell tale Hand Hammering fading all the way out to the edge.
- Fully lathed for a very warm and golden tone, this particular cymbal plays like a drier Sabian HH Vintage or Jazz Ride. That’s the vibe, it has a very strong stick articulation.
- Weighing in at a lovely 2836 grams this 20” plays like an HH Semi-dry Medium DARK RIde with a crystalline brightness mixed in.
- When you ride on it, it delivers a pronounced chime-like stick attack that is low pitched and PERFECT for mellow, lower volume settings but at 2836 grams, it has no problem cutting past a horn player’s fat ass.
- As you would expect, with a bell like that, it CUTS!
- Medium Low pitched. Darker leanings with a dry, pin point attack. Wonderfully versatile. Surprisingly strong bell. Amazing PROJECTION when needed-it is of course made to cut through an 100 piece orchestra. Gorgeous Hand Hammered wash that remains controlled.
- Very great for low to loud settings and very hard to actually find one of these.
- No issues. Golden patina built up over the last 15 years.
- A great top of the line HH that no one else has!
