And this unique 24” DARK COMPLEX LANDMARK Multi Ride Crash is the perfect example of why!\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eHell, don’t just take my word for it - have a listen!\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFor the price of a big box store K Light Ride or Paiste, you can play something custom-hand crafted and beautiful while watering the art of cymbal-smithing.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAnd it’s a generous-sized 24”!  Thats love!\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eImagine a very, very sweet sounding Semi-Dry Dark Complex Agop 30th Anniverary - but in a 24” and much more smooth and refined sounding! \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eVoila! \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eI call this golden hued 24” a Multi Application cymbal because it rides and well as it crashes. Cymbal swells are organic and rich with a perfect blend of complexity and control - and a fairly quick decay for a large 24” - complements of that light, natural patina. And THAT is a very hard combination to achieve. Clearly Timothy is not done with a cymbal until he feels it is complete. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAs you can see the craftsmanship on this unique 24” is Istanbul K -ish with beautiful varied lathing that is reminiscent of those Vintage Turkish Picassos. That’s the vibe, and this 24” is hand made and hand-signed etched under the bell with the date and factory weight provided.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCompared to the Labyrinth Series this is a bit darker and drier with a quicker decay. The hammering is deeper as well.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAnd speaking of bell - the bell is a perfect 5” lending a perfect balance of stick attack and semi-dry wash and that’s a great thing on a thinner, hand hammered complex cymbal. Overall this Landmark is controlled. And fairly dry.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe plain of the cymbal is medium to medium low yielding a great darker tone - it’s not super broad and out of control, but there’s enough bright and dark tones that you can tell it’s hand made.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe underside is a mirrored reflection of the top.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSwells and crashes magnificently but still fairly quick decay. So beautiful this could easily be an orchestral cymbal. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePerfect for any genre from very quiet to medium loud. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eStunning shape with no issues!
