As many of you know, Paul was the wellspring of Zildjian for many decades and is now hand crafting his own creations. I’ve had the good fortune to acquire a few unique and special pieces, like this custom Dry Light and delicate sounding one-off 23”.

3147 grams promotes that terrific stick attack while still maintaining a delicate, light dryness - and therein lies the magic. Organic, controlled overtones and a pinpoint stick articulation and quick response for a larger cymbal. Beautiful response with even just the lightest touch.

Swells and crashes exquisitely with plenty of body but a fast decay that gets out of the way quickly.  Makes an incredible HUGE Dry Fast Crash. A stunning piece to explore and play.
