Like some of the THINNEST 1960s hihats you will ever find.  Ever.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAnd that’s a beautiful thing when you need a light whispy papery vintage tone - none of this modern stuff masquerading as \"vintage\" or \"vintage reissue\" nonsense.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eHand hammered, wavy surface, ultra-thin weights. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThese 60s hats play like 1940s Trans Stamps. That’s the vibe. They may been forged in the 40s or 50s and remained at the Zildjian factory for decades and were stamped later  - apparently Zildjian sometimes did that.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLight Papery whispy, very responsive, wonderfully complex tone with a subtle lively glow that percolates when opened. Dry attack. Very mellow chill - compliments of the last 60 years that have been quite good to them.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eBeautiful CHUP tone when played with your foot. Golden glow when opened. Very light and subtle.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThey sound unbelievable under a mic and are fantastic for low to medium volume settings. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAmazing with brushes!  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eNo modern company makes this sound.
