- Being the 13s”, these 65-year-old Zildjians offer a quick, fast response, very responsive and complex tone with a bit more DRY, cutting quickness to them.
- They play faster and respond much more quickly than larger hihats.
- They sound like K 13s”….but Vintage and MUCH THINNER. They’re DRY, compliments of that half-century-old patina.
- Crisp, tight, light, and airy sounding and articulate sticking that is focused.
- Very pronounced chick and articulation both with your hand and foot.
- Much drier and lighter than any modern Zildjians - but naturally so! Mellowed over time and organic.
- Incredible for recording and low to medium volume settings.
