AND THIS IS A DAMN NEAR IMPOSSIBLE CYMBAL TO FIND!! I've NEVER SEEN ANOTHER!!

And with a new non-hand hammered K Constantinople costing $560, why not save MONEY and get a real hand hammered cymbal?

THIS is one of the DRIEST ISTANBUL CYMBALS EVER PRODUCED!  EVEN MORE FOCUSED THAN A TURK RIDE!

Offered up for you immense pleasure is this absolutely gorgeous sounding Hand Hammered 2397 gram VERY DRY SOUNDING ISTANBUL MEHMET 22" KIRKOR KUCUKYAN Tribute Ride that is in AMAZING Condition. Check out the pictures!

I am happy to report that there are

NO

nicks, cracks, dents or dings on this Turkish Queen. SO CLEAN THAT THIS RARE 22" CAN EVEN PASS AS NEW!!

Dammit does this beauty sound terrific. Very musical. VERY dark and it rumbles and then dissipates quickly!, it's even more DRY and controlled than a Turk Ride.

Here's what Mehmet has to say about this one:

"dark, warm tone with a medium smooth sustain.  The bell is clear and cutting. With its unique lathing bands these cymbals stand out."

Short and with poor capitalization.  Yep, that's about right.  But, who is Kirkor Kucukyan?  Well, apparently he was Mehmet's mentor, and that means he must have worked at the ORIGINAL Zildjian Istanbul K factory back in the day in Istanbul!!  Write if you have more info.

As you can see, this gorgeous Gem has an lightly lathed surface. And it is heavily Hand Hammered. The weight of this 22" is a lovely 2397 grams and it plays like an amazing Dry DARK Medium Thin to Medium Ride. The stick definition is terrific on this 22". It's dark, and low pitched but still a bit clean and the wash is VERY DRY, FOCUSED & CONTROLLED but still has that slightl complex Hand Hammered vibe - especially when crashed upon. The overall tone is dark and very organic and although it's unlathed on top it still has enough attack to throw off a good crash accent.

And HELL YES, you can crash on it!!! It actually is a bit complex sounding when crashed upon, but the wash evaporates quickly especially for being a larger 22".

The bell is FANTASTIC. And the overall pitch is medium low! This RARE 22" is a terrific cymbal!! And I've never seen another like it!

This 22" would be a perfect candidate for rivets if you're so inclined.

Obviously this dark, dry Istanbul Mehmet Kirkor Kucukyan 22" Tribute Ride is spectacular for jazz and blues and it's dark, organic nature makes ballads bleed, and sows soulful seeds. And if you already have a bright or full ride, this 22" will round out your funk, fusion, folk, and even pop and rock rigs. Use it anytime you need a great SEMI-DRY, Dark, organic Turkish tone that's a bit more complex than the others.

$560 for the K Cons?

$520 for a 22" Kerope??

Hell a regular Zildjian A costs $360!!!!

This one really IS HAND HAMMERED!! And it's exceptionally DRY and musical! It's IN AMAZING CONDITION AND IT'S EXCEEDINGLY RARE!

So do yourself a favor and grab this Hand Hammered Turkish 2397 gram, DARK AND DRY Istanbul Mehmet Kirkor Kucukyan 22" Tribute Ride. And grow old with it.
