WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU OPEN PANDORA'S BOX??  Let's find out together, shall we...

$485.00!! That is how much a new Sabian HH Big & Ugly Pandora Ride will set you back. What has the world come too!!!

And that's the Guaranteed Lowest Price too!

HOWEVER NO NEED PAY NEARLY $500!!! AND you DON'T HAVE TO SACRIFICE TONE!!

BEHOLD!! INSANELY CLEAN TOO! SO clean in fact that this Pandora HH looks NEW!! This particular one is beautiful too - it has that oven baked grill that Sabian talks about on the underside!

AND this particular 22" has a pinch of that complex "aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh" tone to it, it's not dead.

This is one of Sabian's newest line of cymbals, and while they are BIG only a shallow twit would call these things ugly.  I guess if you're used to a world where lathed AAs and AAXs dominate then an HEAVILY HAMMERED BEAST like this may appear to have fallen out of the ugly tree in one's eyes.  But if you know something about something then you know this badboy is actually BEAUTIFUL!!!

And so it is with great pleasure that I offer up this insanely AMAZING Condition SUPER DARK AND DRY (but a pinch complex) Hand Hammered Sabian HH Big & Ugly 22" Pandora Ride. Check out the pictures! I am thrilled to report that there are

NO

nicks, cracks, dents, or dings on this Hand Hammered wonder. It's CLEAN!!!

AS YOU CAN SEE, THIS CYMBAL LOOKS NEW!

Check out the close-ups on this HH, the craftmanship is stunning. Beautiful hammering and colors.

This cymbal is extremely heavily hand hammered and very lightly lathed giving it a dark, dry attack.  A very smokey tone, reminiscent of the Agop Signature or Turk Ride.

Here's what Sabian has to say about the Pandora Ride:

"Medium-dark in tone, medium-light in weight, this is the Ride for players who like "Blue" notes. Sitting comfortably between the HH King and HH Nova in pitch and tone, it's the musical equivalent of opening Pandora's Box!"

Is this what's it has come to, Sabian Marketing Dept?  The musical equivalent of Pandora's Box?  Really?  Why not just say you are big Avatar fans and named the cymbal after a fake planet in a big budget movie that was just a rip off of Dances With Wolves and Fern Gully?

Weighing in at a perfect 2462 grams, this Sabian HH plays like a great DRY Thin to Medium Thin, slightly complex Ride. As you would imagine, the attack is very prominent-compliments of that lightly lathed and raw top- and the the wash is dark and definitely organic, compliments of the Hand Hammering, however it remains CONTROLLED!

And therein lies the beauty of this BEAST! Dark. Fairly Dry. Terrific attack. Great response. controlled. And at 2462 grams is definitely crashable-but that wash dissipates quickly.

The beauty of this specific 2462 gram specimen is that it DOES have a bit of that "aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh" complexity to it-that lasts for a seconds and then evaporates quickly.

AND YES, IT'S BENDABLE!! MEANING-QUITE CRASHABLE! Hell, it's only 2462 grams! That makes for a fantastic HUGE, DRY and dark crash cymbal.

And this would be an excellent choice for rivets if you're so inclined.

Obviously this Sabian HH Big & Ugly Pandora Ride is a no brainer for blues, ballads, trio work, folk, soul...and jazz. However the fun doesn't stop there. You can use it for funk, fusion, country,  pop, mellow rock and ANYTIME you need a great dark, organic, dry and controlled Hand Hammered Tone.

$485?? THERE'S NO NEED!

SAVE YOURSELF A TON OF MONEY! THE NEW ONE IS IDENTICAL TO THIS!

THIS ONE IS IN AMAZING SHAPE!!

Do yourself a favor and grab this HUGE & BEAUTIFUL with a pinch of complexity,  2462 gram Sabian HH Big & Ugly 22" Pandora Ride.

And hang onto it.  It's a beauty!!!!
