1997!! THAT'S A DAMN EARLY K CONSTANTINOPLE!!! WOW!! THE EARLIEST DATE I'VE SEEN!

I'm sure the word "Suspended" printed on this cymbal has made you flashback to your high school band room.  OH THE HORROR!  So many crazy memories.

I remember when Jason Roberts pooped in the band closet, then AJ Palidoro took the blame for it and almost got expelled.  Ah, memories...

BUT THIS SUSPENDED SHOULD ONLY FILL YOU WITH JOY!!!

This one weighs almost exactly the same as a straight K CONS CRASH!!!

IT'S FAIRLY THIN!! And because it's a "Suspended", guess what? IT has a tremendously DARK and LOW wash!

It billows!!

AND HELL, YOU DON'T SEE MANY OF THESE BEAUTIES IN THE WILD, NONE OF THIS BIG BOX STORE  "IN STOCK" NONSENSE, AND THEN OF COURSE THEY DON'T HAVE IT!

And orchestras don't mess around with TONE! So it's no wonder that this Orchestral SUSPENDED Cymbal sounds AMAZING!

DARK AND LOW PITCHED with a gorgeous LOW PROFILE TOO!! And a SOLID, ROUND BELL! The 1997 kind! EARLY ONES!

Why get a run-of-the-mill K Crash when you can get a unique K Cons 20" CRASH RIDE?!!

Offered up for your immense delight is this super warm and VERY DARK sounding, SUPER EARLY 1997 Zildjian K Constantinople 20" Suspended Crash Ride Cymbal that is in EXCELLENT Condition. Check out the pictures! Remarkably there are

NO

nicks, dents, dings, or cracks on this gorgeous K Cons. It's in GREAT SHAPE with a light, 22 year old patina that has befriended it! Check out the thin Armand Signature on the underside. Superior K Cons craftsmanship! Super wavy surface!

Wavy surface ALL THE WAY OUT TO THE EDGE!!

THIS MIGHT BE THE EARLIEST K CONS SUSPENDED I'VE EVER COME ACROSS!! 1997!!  I don't know where I was, but Metallica had short hair.

Weighing in at a lovely 1971 grams, this K Constantinople plays like a great warm, mellow , DARK, Thin to Medium Thin Crash Ride. The stick attack is subtle and chime-like, compliments of the lovely patina and lower profile. This cymbal has a semi-dry attack and the wash is nicely controlled and rumbles underneath the stick definition. The wash does not eclipse the attack. The pitch is fairly LOW.  A unique Constantinople.

AND dig that BELL!! Wonderfully LOW pitched and amazing for "the latin thing" or funkier grooves. It cuts.

Obviously as a crash, this 20" is AMAZING! Dark. Low pitched! Brooding, very warm, golden glow! Lush. And FULL!!

Obviously this K Constantinople is a no brainer for jazz, definitely blues, jump n' jive boogie, trio work, ballads, big band and swing. But the fun doesn't stop there. Its strong stick attack and warm, smooth tone make it sing in soul, funk, fusion, R&B, folk, singer/songwriter acoustic gigs, session work and even mellow rock and pop. And if you have a lot of bright or full cymbals, pick this 20" Medium Light up to round out your arsenal of sounds.

$475.00 for a run-of-the-mill-big-box-store K Cons?!!

So do yourself a favor and grab this very Hard to Find in the wild, 1971 gram low profile, DARK sounding, Zildjian K Constantinople 20" Suspended Crash Ride from 1997!
