Here's an AMAZING SOUNDING, slightly DRY 19" KEROPE!!

NO NEED TO SHELL OUT $420!!

This particular one has a very nice and dark factory patina that gives this 19" a really great stick attack.

It is with unbridled joy that I offer up for your immense pleasure, this magnificent sounding, Zildjian Kerope 19" Crash Ride that is in TERRIFIC Condition!! Check out the pictures! I am happy to report that there are

NO

nicks, cracks, dents, or dings on this Kerope. It's in great shape with a very light patina just starting to form that helps dry and mellow this already dry and mellowed beauty out!

Zildjian describes these cymbals as:

"The new Kerope from Zildjian draws upon all of Zildjian's rich history and cymbal-making expertise to bring forth the most authentic vintage K recreation to date. Each cymbal is meticulously hand-crafted using a 14-step process that encompasses the best of everything we have learned in 390 years of cymbal making."

That's some nice self aggrandizing...it'd be helpful if they actually said something about the tone...

Here's a little more:

"Dark and complex. Reminiscent of cymbals from the '50s and '60s yet distinctly modern and relevant for today’s music."

And that is accurate...

Weighing in at a THIN 1678 grams this Kerope possess all the mellow, DARK, OLD School vintage-vibe tone that Zildjian is trying to mimic from the Istanbul Ks. It looks, plays, and feels akin to the Istanbul Agop OM series, but shhhhhhh...don't tell Zildjian that, they think they're breaking new ground.

This 19" Crash is wonderfully responsive at medium to low volumes. Great ORGANIC sounding Zildjian Tone.

And again, this specific 19" is fairly DRY for the series!

Mellow, earthy, responsive, old school, slightly dry AND DARK. That's this Kerope.

This is actually a damn nice sounding cymbal - even if they did bite off Agop.

The beauty of this Kerope is that you can use it for whatever the hell you want. Its dark, mellow, dry tone makes it perfect for jazz, blues, soul, acoustic gigs and organic styles, and its fat, round, soulful sound makes them a welcomed addition to any mellower funk, fusion, mellow rock/pop, R&B or country rig. Use it ANYTIME you need a great dark, fairly mellow DRY Vintage-y K tone.

AND this one is in great shape and it's aging beautifully!!

So do yourself a favor and grab this 1678 gram, fairly DRY, Flagship Zildjian K KEROPE 19" CRASH. And grow old with it.
