$444.95!! That is how much a new glowing Zildjian Kerope 20" Ride will set you back.

KEROPES AIN'T CHEAP!!!  BUT THEY'RE TOTALLY WORTH IT!However, "worth" is relative, so just cause they're worth $445 doesn't mean you have to pay $445!

And you need not sacrifice TONE!! As a matter of fact, this 20" is ONLY 1914 GRAMS and is THINNER THAN MOST!!

It's wonderfully DARK, crashable and responsive!

Offered up for your immense pleasure is this magnificent, SEMI-DRY, MELLOW sounding, DARK and THIN, 1914 gram Zildjian Kerope 20" RIDE that is in EXCELLENT Condition!! Check out the pictures! I am happy to report that there are

NO

nicks, cracks, dents, or dings on this great Kerope.  It's in great shape with a light patina that has started to form!!! It has a beautiful, aged vibe to it, and it's continuing to age gracefully!

That brand new Kerope witll look EXACTLY like this Kerope after 2 gigs anyway! This one is CLEAN - strong logos! It's in great shape!

This particular Kerope has a great balance or dry, dark and slightly complex but with a fairly quick decay!

Zildjian describes these cymbals as:

"The new Kerope from Zildjian draws upon all of Zildjian's rich history and cymbal-making expertise to bring forth the most authentic vintage K recreation to date. Each cymbal is meticulously hand-crafted using a 14-step process that encompasses the best of everything we have learned in 390 years of cymbal making."

That's some nice self aggrandizement right there...it'd be helpful if they actually said something about the tone...

Here's a little more:

"Dark and complex. Reminiscent of cymbals from the '50s and '60s yet distinctly modern and relevant for today’s music."

And that is accurate...this one being only 1914 grams - it's VERY Crashable.

Weighing in at a lovely and THIN 1914 this Kerope possess all the mellow, DARK, OLD School vintage-vibe tone that Zildjian is trying to mimic from the Istanbul Ks.  The bell is a large 5"!  It looks, plays, and feels akin to the Istanbul Agop OM series, but shhhhhhh...don't tell Zildjian that, they think they're breaking new ground.

This Ride is wonderfully responsive at medium to low volumes. Great ORGANIC sounding Zildjian Tone. And dig the big and beautiful bell-that looks old time-y for sure.

Mellow, earthy, responsive, darker, old school, slightly smokey AND fairly DRY for this series but still CRASHABLE

That's this Kerope.  And being a 20" the WARM, VINTAGE-Y Wash is GLORIOUS when crashed upon.

This is actually a damn great sounding 20"  - even if Zildjian did bite off Agop.

The beauty of this Kerope is that you can use it for whatever the hell you want. Its dark, mellow, dry tone makes it perfect for jazz, blues, soul, acoustic gigs and organic styles, and its fat, round, soulful sound makes them a welcomed addition to any funk, fusion, mellow rock/pop, R&B or country rig. Use it ANYTIME you need a great dark, fairly mellow and smokey Vintage-y K tone.

$445??????!!!!!

There's NO NEED!! This one is glorious looking! And it sounds great too. Particularly EVEN and balanced and still only 1914 grams!!!

So save some $money$. And this one is VERY CLEAN!!

Do yourself a favor and grab this beautiful Flagship, DARK and semi-DRY sounding, 1914 gram THIN Zildjian K KEROPE 20" RIDE.
