- Here’s a hard to find pair of Hand Hammered Hihats! Especially where you can actually hear them first.
- To have a cymbal Series named “Jazz Master” is quite a bold statement. But, I have to give it to Bosphorus, these golden 14s” indeed have a fantastic light, and airy handcrafted beauty! Reminiscent of some of the 1940s and 50s Hand Hammered Zildjians but with a bit more breathiness and more solid CHICK.
- As you can see, these hand-hammered Hihats are fully lathed with thin to wide gold ribbons on the surface while the bell is wide-lathed like a Bosphorus New Orleans Ride.
- What I love about these particular 14s” is that their defining characteristics is LIGHT, AIRY, complex, and yet they stick attack is tight and controlled.
- Overall very complex-sounding but the golden stick attack resides above the wash when opened. They’re not dry but for complex cymbals they deliver a great stick attack.
- 790 grams for the Top and 1214 grams for the Bottom. Light. Airy. Complex with a percolating warmth but they still have a terrific chick!
- Incredibly responsive. Perfect for very low to medium volumes.
- Harkens back to the complex Zildjians of the 1950s - that’s the vibe, but it has a bit more liveliness to it.
- Amazing condition. No issues.
- Very hard hihats to actually find in the wild! Sound amazing.
