Paiste 602 THIN FLAT RIDE in the mellow and controlled 18” size and so fresh it looks like it was just picked off the Paiste tree!! Demoed and that’s it. Extremely clean.

Only 1460 grams.  Bends with ease!  Very thin edges.

The magic of this specific 18” Paiste is that it has the rare distinction of being light and airy sounding AND ALSO has a terrific, SHIMMERING, crystalline chime-like stick attack.

The definition of this 18” strong for such a thin cymbal. And it still has that gorgeous thinner, papery whispering wash. Plays as clean as a spring rain.

The absence of a bell controls the overtones beautifully while the thinner weight lets it breathe. Combine that with the smaller 18” size and you have the perfect mellow, shimmering FLAT with a hint of complexity.
