And as a testament for my love for you, I am offering this Rare 18” that you cannot get (outside of Jojo’s cymbal bag and you shouldn’t be rooting around in there!)
- This is a fascinating cymbal that is reminiscent of the DUO series with a dual surface and an unique weight distribution.
- Paperthin edges that bend with ease and make this Hand Hammered HHX extremely responsive and complex - very conplex. Raw and unlathed bell with some weight behind it to cut and project well.
- 1476 grams - with most of that weight centered around the raw bell for riding capability.
- As a Ride this HHX is dry and complex. The stick definition is terrific and the wash is very controlled. Great clarity but with more warmth and spread than a Fierce Ride. And being an 18” it’s controlled and quick.
- As a Crash - the edges are very thin so this crashes with ease. So responsive that you can use this with hand percussion. The edges bend easily.
- Dry but with a Complex l, broad dynamic range. Cuts quite well - opens quickly, fast attack with a fairly quick decay. Dry and cutting raw bell.
- Immaculate condition! Makes the perfect and rare addition to the cataloged set.
