That initial stick attack is magnificent. It’s semi-dry and articulate and it crashes beautifully for a  22” “Ride.” Has a clean and clear Paiste adjacent even and focused tone but with more warmth and complexity overall and a pinch of dark smokiness in there - compliments of Paul’s hands.

Blooms very full when crashed upon but not overly trashy or raucous.  Controlled and clean sounding with a terrific cutting ability while still remaining even with both bright and dark presence.

Use it for damn near anything.  Any style. Any gig.
