- Short and sweet. What they fail to mention is how DARK and shimmering this wonderful K 22”.
- Weighing in at a lovely 3696 grams this 22” delivers SUPERB stick attack -compliments of the heavier constitution. This balanced 22 year old Zildjian yields a Classic K chime-like stick attack that is followed by a warm, LOW pitched and surprisingly DARK wash that overall remains controlled.
- What I particularly dig about this specific 22” is that the stick attack definitely stays ON TOP of the wash - the wash remains controlled and does not eclipse the stick definition--again thanks to the healthier weight.
- It has a dry attack but it’s not overly dead - it just has great definition.
- Very well-balanced. Combine that with a SOLID BELL and you have one hell of a nice sounding 30 year old Zildjian K Ride.
- And this beauty projects superbly--which is not always easy to find in Zildjians more subtle K series.
- Great condition. No issues. Terrific 3 decade old patina naturally built up mellows it.
