The closest thing to this beauty in a modern cymbal was possibly the Zildjian China Trash  in the rare 22” size. But that hasn’t been made in years, and this cymbal is thinner and much, much more organic. And it’s unlathed and raw.

And they never made that as a Knocker! 

A modern Zildjian sounds nothing like this Hamd Hammered beauty.

Super Old a school Complex, dark, organic, opens very quickly for a big 22”, extremely responsive at lower volume settings but has no problem cutting - it has a biting quick attack. Glorious as an alternate Ride - a la Mel Lewis
