  • One of the nicest cymbals I have, right here:
  • A harder to find series but worth the search when you do - fortunately you need not roam the earth guessing and looking at stock photos of this rare Istanbul. Here it is!!

  • Have a listen to this exact piece so you can buy with confidence! It sounds amazing. It’s very close to the Istanbul Mel Lewis Series with a larger bell and a broader, more full crash tone. And who doesn’t love that story!

  •  Istanbul Mehmet 50s NOSTALGIA 22” Ride in excellent condition!

  • This beauty has all the golden glowing warmth of the famous Nostalgia Series but being the 50s version the bell is larger and rounded over giving it a hint more complexity than the standard nostalgia.

  • And that falls right into line with the Hand Hammered 1950s Vintage Zildjians - like the Block Stamp logo.  And this 22” has that heritage. Golden glowing Hand Hammered tone but with the larger bell found on the 22s” from that era Zildjian.

  • 2288 grams. Terrific stick attack on top with a golden wash that remains mellow and controlled but has a pinch of complexity.  Extremely crashable. Very warm. The great solid bell for such a mellow cymbal.

  • Perfect for any music - very quiet to loud settings - when you crash on the edge this 22” really opens up and can handle itself in louder gigs.  Great for jazz but not at all limited to jazz.

  • Glorious cymbal swell - so golden warm and glowing this could even be an orchestral suspended cymbal. It’s THAT lush!

  • Terrific shape with no issues and a deep golden glowing patina. Aging beautifully.

  •  A gorgeous Istanbul that is one of the nicest Dark Warm 22s” you’ll find. And for the price of a K Custom 17” Crash.
