This stunning, ultra deep Snare Drum comes from the DW California Custom shop and it is DW's top of the line, exotic Series, not the PDP or performance series stuff. I believe it was a limited edition exotic wood. 

The combination of Cherry and Spruce beautifully beefs up the attack to deliver a punchy tone and the Spruce rounds out the low end for a fatness.
