- Weighing in at a svelte, PAPER THIN 1266 grams, this Bosphorus plays like a SEMI-DARK, FAIRLY DRY, papery COMPLEX PAPER Thin Crash. The tone is extremely ORGANIC, a pinch dark, a bit DRY, and VERY Complex AND WHISPY -which is not always an easy combination to find.
- The initial attack on this 18" opens quickly and yields a terrific spread with myriad overtones, HOWEVER, this 18" being pre-aged with a sand-washed finish, those overtones decay quickly leaving a DRY, papery sounding crash that is nothing like and big company offer.
- And at only 1266 grams, this Bosphorus is bendable and quick, and responsive at lower volumes.
