- French for “long ago/from times past,” this JADIS 20” Ride from Bosphorus is exceptionally rare and was released in France in collaboration with drummer Philippe Lalite.
- As the JADIS name implies, this beautiful 20” was a tribute to the famous Vintage Zildjian Istanbul Ks of yore or “yesteryear,” and a felicitous one it was.
- With a pronounced bow and extra hammering on top, this JADIS offers one of the most complex sounding, broad spreads of any cymbal to enter the market - albeit in a very limited capacity. It swims in the Bill Stewart Zildjian K Custom Dry Complex waters - that’s the vibe.
- At a particularly thin 1796 grams, this 20” opens with the lightest swipe and delivers a very airy, complex and light tone that conjures the halcyon days of Hand Hammered Zildjians made in the Old World fashion.
