- Hard to find and very light sounding Bosphorus MASTERS VINTAGE 15” Hihats that are in Amazing Condition.
- As you can see, the Vintage line and the Turk line share a common ancestry. They’re raw and Hand Hammered and unlathed but the Master Vintage is THINNER and more refined sounding. Overall smoother with a clean balance.
- Weighing in at a svelte 900 grams for the Top Cymbal and 1096 grams for the Bottom cymbal, these 15s”plays like Dry Thin LIGHT Hihats. As you can see, the Top of these cymbals is Raw and completely Unlathed except for the outer 1/8". The underside of the cymbals are completely Unlathed. Period. The tone is dark, slightly complex, organic, and DRY, compliments of the Raw Unlathed surface. These Hihats are controlled in both volume and wash-compliments of those thin weights and unlathed surface.
- Open them up for a glorious slosh that is not overbearing or too loud. They remain mellow, and that’s a beautiful thing on Huge 15s”.
- Perfect for very quiet to medium loud. Extremely responsive at lower volumes. Amazing in old school jazz, New Orleans, freight-train-a-comin’ grooves and anything with SOUL.
