Meinl Byzance Medium Thin Traditional 17” Crash weighing a wonderful 1165 grams. Dark and opens quickly with a medium fast decay.
- The tone is warm with a medium-low pitch. What I specifically dig about this 17” is that it has all the warm dark leanings of Meinl's Hand Hammered Series, however, being a "Medium Thin Crash," the projection is solid but it does not clank and is not overbearing.
- Opens quickly. Semi-complex. Medium fast decay with a strong cut.
- No issues. Great dark patina. Aged and mellowed with bendible edges.
