- One of the nicest sounding K CRASHES right here! So of course Zildjian discontinued it! This particular 18” is incredibly dark and smooth sounding!
- Weighs a perfect 1430 grams and most of that weight is around the bell. The edges are thin.
- Zildjian described this 18” as:
“Session Crashes were designed by Steve Gadd and modeled after his favorite crash sound. These crashes are built to be controlled and custom-made for use in the recording studio. Low, dark crashes quickly decay to blend.”
- And then they discontinued it!! That sucks.
- This K is warm and dark. Lower profile makes it low in pitch.
- Extremely sensitive and responsive but has no problem cutting a mix!
- Perfect for all applications. As versatile as the man who inspired it.
- No issues. Amazing shape! CLEAN!
- An amazing sounding K CUSTOM that’s harder to find and no longer made.
