- Medium to Medium-low in pitch. Both dark and bright overtones are present but it swims in the darker shadows.
- It crashes incredibly well at only 2288 grams - especially for a cymbal with such a dry attack.
- Golden half-century-old patina dries this 20” perfectly. It’s mellowed It’s stunning looking and sounding. Hand hammered rippling underneath.
- The bell is solid for a thinner 60-year-old cymbal. And it’s lightly glowing and yet has a lsubtle control to it.
- The perfect Semi-Darker Dry Ride that’s very crashable and offers a hint of complexity.
- This 1960s 20” could have been the model Zildjian used to create their “vintage vibe” $1000 Kerope series.
