Here’s an INSANELY RARE and collectible Zildjian!

The 24” SPECIAL SELECTION K CONSTANTINOPLE LIGHT! And it’s in immaculate condition. Factory Stamped “SPECIAL SELECTION.” This is the only one of these I have ever seen.

The “SPECIAL SELECTION” stamp indicates that this was anointed by Zildjian as a particularly beautiful piece - usually something held for an artist, or an orchestra. Or possibly a reference for the factory vault. That is my understanding.

Ultra Rare, Ultra Warm. ONLY 3260 grams which is a terrific, even and balanced weight. Very dark and thin and absolutely glorious! Stunning craftsmanship.

Of course Armand Zildjian’s signature is emblazoned on the underside!

And this specific 24” has an amazing attack for a “LIGHT RIDE!” Very nice articulation for a THIN K Constantinople, and a 24” at that!

This 24” K Constantinople Ride is, not surprisingly, a terrific Light Ride. It’s thin. And as promised, LIGHT.

The tone is semi-dark, extremely MELLOW, and very warm and glowing. There is a FANTASTIC stick definition on top with a dark, warm wash rumbling underneath.

The bell is still solid enough for “the latin thing” and funk/pop. It’s remarkably crashable because it is a thin K Cons.

Crashes like an absolute DREAM!

Exceptionally BALANCED with a bit more darkness in there and a stunning light complexity. Medium low to low in pitch, responsive, glowing, FANTASTIC STICK DEFINITION for a Light Ride.

And it’s PERFECT!! Playable. Collectible. Absolutely gorgeous. And Zildjian clearly thinks so too!
