I LOVE COMBO Hihats! Hihats that are unique, something not catalogued. And that’s exactly what we have right here!

Absolutely terrific sounding unique Paiste 14s”!

The Top hihat is a 2002 ish Prototype TOP that has trace elements of the Dark Energy series with the lathing and circular hammering on the underside. And the bottom is a Vintage 2002 Factory Stamped “ROCK” Heavy Hihat Bottom.

With complementary weights of 897 over 1074 grams, these beautiful Paiste Combo 14s” have an incredible TIGHT AND CRISP TONE when played with both your hand and with the foot CHICK.

Both cymbals are made of the 2002 alloy so they sound very familiar to the ear. And yet, with that 897 gram Prototype on top, Paiste has nothing that captures this exact sound. 

Very articulate when played softly.  Open them up for a punchy, cutting accent that has a pinch more complexity than your standard 2002 Hihats.

These COMBO Hihats are crisp but have more complexity when opened.
