From the first decade Zildjian American Ks debuted! And this is the rare 19” K “DARK CRASH”.

I love the 80s Ks, they sound so familiar because it was a BIG deal when Zildjian U.S.A re-introduced the series - with the help of Tony Williams, Vinnie Colauita and a cornucopia of drumming TITANS! The new K was a nod to Old World legacy and craftsmanship with modern applications. And they were played on tons of records.

At 1690 grams, this particular “Dark Crash” perfectly captures that era. And it sounds NOTHING like the Zildjian As of that time. It was a whole new DARK thing. And it’s large enough to really dig into.
