SMOOTH ISTANBUL Mehmet BRILLIANT 16” Hihats 1020 1170 g Mellow Dark Shimmer

Some of the nicest sounding Hihats I have - nothing like them out there either. Very mellow, dark 16s” in Brilliant.

Extremely even, smooooooth sibilance with these Istanbul 16s” at 1020 and 1170 grams.

Brilliant Finish lends a subtle dark shimmer that remains controlled and mellow - and that’s not an easy find with hand hammered hihats. I’m not sure how these 2 Istanbuls were born into the world - if they were hihats or what. But they’re living their best life now! They sound incredible together.

An excellent choice for a studio. They’re different sounding but also easy and pleasing to the ear.

Can split them up as different weight crashes too.

Amazing shape.  No issues. Light patina.

Sound phenomenal. I wish a big company offered something like these.
