- These are simply stunning - semi-dark and smooth with a slight hint of complexity - fairly light and airy with a broad spread.
- And being the 13s”, they are much more responsive, quick and articulate than larger 14s and 15s.
- Weighing in at a THIN 770 grams for the Top Cymbal and 920 grams for the Bottom Cymbal, these Dark 13s” play like Hand Hammered fairly smooth and Semi-DARK THIN to Medium Thin Hihats with a blend of light smoothness and complexity. The concentric lathed and unlathed rings provide multiple surfaces for different tones.
- What's interesting about this particular pair of Sultans is that they are particularly LIGHT AND AIRY WITH A SMOOTHNESS. They are DARKER but still have a few shadows of brightness in there.
- Light and airy, even, smooth, medium darkness, with a bit of hand hammered complexity and dryness! VERY airy with that old world Hand Hammered complexity.
- High and lows present.
- Perfect for low to medium loud volumes.
