Here’s a beautiful pair of  Hand Hammered thinner Hihats that are dry, complex and have a beautiful LIGHTNESS to them. You hardly ever find these where you can hear it before you buy.

Viola!!

  • At only 890 and 1098 grams these Bosphorus Black Pearl Hihats play like a Dry Light Thin to Medium Thin Hats that are responsive with a terrific CHICK.

  • LOOK 80 years old with its Vintage sienna copper-hued BRUSHED like Vintage Finish.

  • As you can see, these stunning 14s” have a Hand Hammered bell feeding into a lightly lathed or brushed plain, the last outer half-inch is golden lathed.
  • Turk Series adjacent however more refined sounding.  Overall smoother with a clean balance and smoothness.

  • Weighing in at a svelte 890 grams for the Top Cymbal and 1098 grams for the Bottom cymbal, these 14s”play like Dry Thin LIGHT Hihats. The Top of these cymbals looks raw and completely Unlathed except for the outer 1/8". They have a brushed appearance.

  • The underside of the cymbals are completely Unlathed/brushed.  The tone is slightly complex, organic, and semi-dry but with a light brightness compliments of the more complex tone. These Hihats are controlled in both volume and wash-compliments of those thin weights and organic surface.

  • Open them up for a glorious slosh that is not overbearing or too loud. They remain mellow and fairly controlled.

  • Perfect for very low to medium loud settings.
  • Light papery voice with distinctive earthen tone plus papery shimmer. Organic but glows.

  • That is these beautiful 14” Black Pearl Hihats!

  • Immaculate. No issues. Hard to actually find - especially where you can hear them first!

  • A steal at this price! Nearly $100 less than regular-ass Zildjian New Beats.  And these are actually hand hammered!

  • Harder to find - especially where you can hear it. Gorgeous craftsmanship. Immaculate condition.

  • A tribute to the art of cymbal making, and it sounds damn great too!
