- These hard to find Paistes have a beautiful super clean tone and they’re super quick!
- They have a cleaner, GLASSIER tone than the Signatures. Beautiful light shimmer.
- Many of you may already know the saga of the Sound Formulas. They debuted around the time of the first Signatures ('89/'90) and sported a Round Logo and used the same Paste B15 Signature alloy but had a slightly different lathing pattern. Then around 1995, the logo changed to the "Frankenstein logo" (as one literary ebayer coined it) and the lathing and overall appearance became almost identical to the Paiste Signature Series, so close in fact that ultimately Paiste discontinued the entire Sound Formula Series many years ago because they competed a littlé TOO WELL with the Signature Series.
- Just a glance at these 10s” confirms the uncanny resemblance to the Signature Series.
- So crisp and clean sounding with a glassiness.
- And they cut superbly. Terrific CHICK! And being 10” they play faster than 13"s or 14"s…even faster than 12s”!
- The weights on these beauties are 482 grams for the Top Cymbal and 544 grams for the Bottom Cymbal.
- Perfect for soft to very loud. They can be auxiliary hihats or main hihats for a quick, clean tone.
- No issues. Overall super clean for being nearly 30 + years old. Lovely light patina that focuses them beautifully.
- Hard to find even when they were being produced. Extremely hard to find now.
