- This is the DRY complement to the HH Hammertone Crescent Series. And it’s gorgeous. The attack is dry and very well refined while the wash maintains a pinch of warmth with a fairly fast decay!
- Check out the construction on this one! Raw, heavily hammered top, with the lightest lathing for effect. The bottom is fully lathed and gleaming, except for underneath the bell which is raw and hammered. The result is a cymbal with a dry attack and subtle and controlled glowing wash - spectacular combination.
- Weighing in at a lovely 2814 grams, this Crescent plays like a Dry but ever so slightly Complex Ride. The tone is extremely ORGANIC, DARK, DRY and has a pinch of COMPLEXITY---which is not always an easy combination to find.
- The initial attack on this big 22” yields a terrific dry and articulate sticking that is followed by a very subtle, warm and mellow organic wash.
- And at 2814 grams, this 22” has a nice ability to project without being harsh or heavy handed. The bell is solid.
- Perfect for very quiet to medium loud settings.
