  • An amazing 20 year old K Custom - the ORIGINAL too!It’s aged magnificently And this one is a pinch thinner than most in the series giving it a bit more body. Very dry with that light complexity. 

  • Everything about this Zildjian says K CONSTANTINOPLE DRY RIDE. 

  • Technically it’s a K Custom but look at the craftsmanship on this ORIGINAL High Definition 22” - check out the hammering around the raw bell, look at the lathing and the hammering all the way out to the edge - it looks straight out of the Early K Constantinople Series.  I mean hell, it’s a K Cons with a Raw Bell and a drier tone with great projection. 

  • And this is the Original version and it’s aged magnificently over the last 20 years. It has a deep golden sienna hue that’s stunning. Just beautiful to even look at.

  • And the underside is LATHED - unlike the new version, which gives this particular 22” more body than the ultra dry newer model. This one inhabits the Goldilocks zone with a little bit more complexity.
  • 20 year old ORIGINAL Zildjian K Custom 22” High Definition Ride with the most lovely, light complexity but still remains dry. 

  • This 22” has an incredibly straight-up DRY stick attack…

  • ….but then there’s this light subtle breathiness in the wash compliments of the unlathed underside. 

  • 2934 grams gives it a to Medium weight that guarantees what the name suggests “High DEFINITION.” This one has more body and complexity than the newer version 

  • Overall it plays a bit lighter - maybe that’s the K Constantinople craftsmanship. 

  • Alternate gold and brown wide lathing on BOTH top and bottom.

  • K Cons styled bell but RAW - cuts very well. 

  • DRY. Very organic. A shadow of a light and breathy smoky wash. Very, very fast decay and quick responsiveness - especially for such a large cymbal.  Strong bell. Simply incredible stick articulations. 

  • Sounds amazing with fast and intricate patterns but sighs a dry breath with slow quarter notes. 

  • Perfect for soft to louder situations. 

  • No issues. Fantastic condition. Golden two decade old patina. Gorgeous Zildjian that’s K CONSTANTINOPLE.  

  • A stunning, hard to find Original version.
