- Only 888 and 1080 grams. And Sixteens. That’s very THIN. They’re even crashable!
- Absolutely fantastic sounding dark, smooth, vintage, six-decade old Vintage Zildjian 16” Hihats.
- Glorious massive THIN 16” Hihats.
- I’m not sure exactly what or where these originally fit in the Zildjian catalog 60 years ago…who cares. They’re living their best life today paired up!
- Both have the 1960s Stamp with the telltale fine golden lathing! Hand Hammered.
- Well over half-century golden patina, has built up, darkened, and chilled out these 16s” magnificently.
- Father Time has blessed these huge 16s” giving them a unique, smoothness with a light, subtle, lively complexity - compliments of that hand hammering.
- Very dark, and articulate when closed. Open them for a beefy low pitched accent that cuts.
- Dark, medium-low pitched, super mellowed with a perfect blend of organic light complexity and that great 60s A light complexity. Open them fully for a huge RINGO sloshy wash.
- None of this "Vintage-Homage" nonsense, these cymbals have lived a life and they sound like no modern Zildjian hi-hats.
