As you can see the Top Cymbal has Dark Energy style craftsmanship with a low profile, wider lathing and Paiste circular DE hammering while the Bottom Cymbal is reminiscent of a RUDE Colorsound with an unlathed surface and circular Rude hammering.

The end result is a pair of Dark Energy esque, dark sounding and fairly complex, LOW pitched, super FAT sounding 16s” that still have that Paiste CLEAN tone.

 The top cymbal lends that beautiful, dark and sibilant hiss when opened. And the drier Colorsound supplies that terrific focus and strong chick.

Great weights at 1058 and 1112 grams.

Both cymbals are marked “PROTOTYPE” and can obviously be split up and used as Crash cymbals as well.
