- Here’s a sound you don’t normally find from Paiste!
- A very dark and complex China or Swish.
- Paiste’s Chinas are famously rigid and stiff - they do that Paiste China thing.
- This Dimensions THIN 18” is the outlier. It plays more like a Turkish Hand Hammered China - it is THAT complex and quick.
- The Dimensions series was a Top of the Paiste Series - a hybrid of the Dark Energies with the 2002s. That was the vibe. Darker and more complex and adventurous than the regular 2002.
- And that’s exactly what we have with this 18” Dimensions Thin China.
- Only 1095 grams make it very thin - one of the thinnest Chinas Paiste has ever produced.
- Super DARK and complex with a wonderful earthen quality.
- Opens quickly with an extremely fast decay.
-
Incredibly responsive.
- Perfect as an alternate Light Dry Ride or Swish.
- Excellent shape for how thin it is. Usually these are dented all over the place. This one is clean and in great shape.
- Perfect if you want a dark and different tone from Paiste. It’s one of the nicer Chinas they ever made.
- They make nothing like this 18” today.
